Abundant Life Team - Alumni Meeting - Correspondence Program

Two weeks ago we had Abundant Life Church work team with us. They were a tremendous blessing to us and our ministry. They made great head way on our New Life Church in Croix des Mission. In 5 days of work they cut steel, made cages for pillars and beams. On the sixth day working very late and using every bit of energy and skill they had, they poured 2 pillars and 3 beams. This is no small feat considering the tools they had and the extreme heat. Thanks to their labor of love, we now have the first beams poured for the church balcony. Of course, none of this would be possible without John Wicks our engineer and your gifts of love.

May is one of  our busiest months. May 1st we have our annual alumni meeting. May 3rd we take pictures of those who will be graduating so we can put their pictures in the graduation program and prepare a photo album to present them on graduation day. May 19th starts our one week of exams. May 31st is graduation day.

In the midst of all this, I am busy preparing to kick off our Bible School by correspondence program. As well, we are preparing to go to the States on June 6th. Of course, this does not exclude our normal responsibilities of me serving as an elder at a local church, teaching classes, on the radio every week, having bi-monthly meetings with our Haitian staff, etc. Margaret's normal duties on top of the extra load this month are book keeping, banking, correspondence, children's church work, overseeing of elementary schools, and our nutrition program plus much more.

Although we keep plenty busy, we consider it a privilege to serve the Lord in this way. We thank Him for the strength he gives us everyday and are amazed His faithfulness.
