Hurricane Matthew

As most already know a devastating category 4 hurricane passed over Haiti yesterday. Yet, we thank Jesus that Margaret, Rachel and I are fine.

Some specifics:
2 of our school lost their roofs, (the schools at Fond des Blancs and L’azile)
2 or our churches lost parts of their roofs, (the churches at Fond des Blancs and L’azile)

Many homes in Fond des Blancs and L’azile were destroyed completely. All crops were lost in these areas as well many live stock.

On our property in Jacmel, the ocean rose and came over the front wall, about 6 ft. up. It washed our 180 foot wooden fence out to sea.

Pray that we would have God’s wisdom in how to best help those in need at this time.
Pray that His name would be glorified in the midst of tragedy.

Secondly, we ask you to help us respond the many needs as result of hurricane Matthew. At this time we estimate that we will need hundreds of thousands of dollars. Therefore, please consider stepping in and helping. The best way at this time is through monetary gifts.
We appreciate each of you who have stood with us through the years. We believe that God has placed us in Haiti for His purpose in times like these.
You can send gifts online by clicking on the attached link to Elim Fellowship. Please state that your gifts are preferred for: “Roger Clark, New Life Mission of Haiti, Grant Fund”. Thank you. www.elimfellowship.org (give-Mission Projects)
