Update on Matthew Hurricane Relief

As I write this, there are still thousands of people who are dealing with the toll that hurricane Matthew took on Haiti. Thousands are still without homes, gardens, livestock, and on the verge of starvation.

We at New Life Mission of Haiti have focused on helping the people most affected in three of our New Life churches where the congregation were hit hard by the storm.

As of present, we have re-covered two school roofs. We have helped rebuild over 15 homes. We have purchased over 50 animals: cows, goats, sheep, pigs, turkeys and chickens.  We could not do this without all those who gave generously towards these needs.

In the next month we hope to purchase another 50 animals and help rebuild another 10 homes. While we are very thankful for what we have been able to do, we know that there are many more in our churches who are still suffering from the toll they took. Please be praying for them as they struggle to feed their families and send their children to school.

Below you will find pictures of homes rebuilt (before & after) and animals purchased.
